We are looking for a visionary Design Director to spearhead the creative and physical design direction for retail and POSM (Point of Sale Materials). This is a senior leadership role for a product-focused designer who understands modern retail design & POSM design technologies. 
You will bridge the gap between high-level brand strategy and real-world industrial execution, ensuring every physical solution is strategically sound, creatively brave, and built to scale.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design Vision & Direction: Set the standard for retail and shopper product design, ensuring all outputs balance high-end craft with commercial feasibility.
  • Omnichannel Integration: Lead design thinking that connects physical in-store assets with digital, experiential, and commerce touchpoints.
  • Team Mentorship: Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team (3D, Product, and Retail designers), fostering a culture of accountability and creative excellence.
  • Client Partnership: Act as the senior design authority in client workshops and presentations, guiding stakeholders through complex design journeys with clarity and conviction.
  • Concept to Execution: Oversee the transition from initial sketch to prototyping and production, ensuring design intent is never lost in engineering.
Experience & Background
  • 10+ years of experience in retail, product, POSM, or industrial design, with significant time spent in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven Expertise: A deep portfolio of physical product design specifically for the retail environment.
  • Shopper Savvy: A strong grasp of BTL (Below-the-Line) fundamentals and how design influences consumer behavior at the point of purchase.
  • Stakeholder Mastery: Confident navigating senior-level client relationships within an agency or consultancy environment.
  • Technical Fluency: A robust understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.
