Our Group includes our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, including 33 Talent Singapore Pte Ltd, and 33 Talent UK Ltd. This notice together with our website terms of use sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.

In the United Kingdom:

Our data processing activities are governed by the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

In the European Union:

Where we process the personal data of individuals in the EU, we are governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR).

In Singapore:

Our data processing activities are governed by the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

The data controller for your personal data depends on your location and the entity you are engaging with:

Requirement for Employment agencies in Singapore to report NRIC/FIN numbers to MOM

As a licensed Employment Agency in Singapore, 33 Talent Singapore Pte Ltd is subject to the Employment Agency Licence Conditions (EALCs). In compliance with these legal obligations, we are required to collect and submit specific personal data of jobseekers to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

  • Data Collected: This includes personal data such as your full name and National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) number or Foreign Identification Number (FIN).

  • When This Applies: This requirement applies when we refer you to an employer for a permanent or contract position that is for a duration of at least six months with a fixed monthly salary of S$3,300 or more.

  • Purpose and Legal Basis: The collection and submission of this data are strictly for regulatory reporting purposes to the MOM. The legal basis for this processing is compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject.

  • Data Confidentiality: The information collected for this specific purpose is submitted directly to the MOM as required by law. It will not be shared with any other third parties, including the prospective employer, as part of this specific regulatory submission.

Who we are and what we do

We are a recruitment agency and talent consultancy business. We provide the following services: recruitment, training, talent and HR consultancy, payroll and invoicing management and employment pass applications. We collect the personal data of the following types of people to allow us to undertake our business;

  • Prospective and placed candidates for permanent or temporary roles;

  • Prospective and live client contacts;

  • Supplier contacts to support our services;

  • Employees, consultants, temporary workers;

  • People who use our coaching Services

  • Users of our website who download resources or subscribe to our blog

We collect information about you to carry out our core business and ancillary activities.

Lawful Basis for Processing Your Data

We rely on several legal bases to process your personal data, depending on the nature of the data and the purpose of the processing:

  1. Contractual Necessity: To perform a contract with you or take steps at your request before entering a contract (e.g., assessing your suitability for a job, submitting your CV to an employer, or managing payroll).

    • Keeping records of candidates and clients.

  3. Legal Obligation: Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation (e.g., MOM reporting requirements, tax, and employment laws).

  4. Consent: Where we process certain types of sensitive personal data (e.g., health information) or use your data for marketing purposes where required by law, we will obtain your explicit consent. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

Information you give to us or we collect about you.

This is information about you that you give us by filling in forms on our site www.33talent.com (our site) or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. It includes information you provide when you register to use our site, to enter our database, subscribe to our services, attend our events, participate in discussion boards or other social media functions on our site, enter a competition, promotion or survey, download any of our resources, and when you report a problem with our site.

The information you give us or we collect about you may include your name, address, private and corporate e-mail address and phone number, financial information, compliance documentation and references verifying your qualifications and experience and your right to work, curriculum vitae and photograph, links to your professional profiles available in the public domain e.g. LinkedIn, X, business Facebook or corporate website.

Information we collect about you when you visit our website.

With regard to each of your visits to our site we will automatically collect the following information:

  • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information if applicable, browser type and version, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;

  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, and any phone number used to call our customer service number.

Information we obtain from other sources.

This is information we obtain about you from other sources such as LinkedIn, corporate websites, job board websites, online CV libraries, your business card, and personal recommendations. In this case we will inform you, by sending you this privacy notice, within a maximum of 30 days of collecting the data of the fact we hold personal data about you.

Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, and in line with PDPA requirements, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

The Right to Be Informed: You have the right to be provided with clear, transparent, and easily understandable information about how we use your information and your rights. This policy aims to fulfill this right.

The Right to Access: You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data.

The Right to Rectification: You have the right to have your personal data corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.

The Right to Erasure ('Right to be Forgotten'): In certain circumstances, you can ask for your personal data to be deleted or removed where there is no compelling reason for us to continue processing it.

The Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to 'block' or suppress the further processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.

The Right to Data Portability: You have the right to obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes across different services. This right applies only to data you have provided to us, processed based on consent or contract, and carried out by automated means.

The Right to Object: You have the right to object to certain types of processing, including processing based on legitimate interests and direct marketing.

Rights in Relation to Automated Decision Making and Profiling: You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing (including profiling) which produces legal or similarly significant effects on you. (We currently do not use automated decision-making).

Where we store and transfer your personal data

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside your country of residence. For example, it may be shared between our offices in the UK and Singapore, or with third-party service providers located internationally.

When we transfer personal data from the UK to a country that does not have a data protection adequacy decision, such as Singapore, we will ensure that the transfer is lawful and that your data is protected by implementing appropriate safeguards. This includes using legally-approved mechanisms such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses.
