POSITION: ACCOUNT DIRECTOR ROLE DESCRIPTION
● Manages multiple key client relationships, budgeting, achieve targets and facilitates new business pitches
● Be responsible for growing key account sets, working across various brands and making sure the work being produced exceeds the client’s expectations.
● Be the first point of contact for clients, who seek for the strategy, creative and production
● Develop opportunities to generate incremental revenue via new projects and specialist services.
● Able to spot client needs and quickly translate these needs into a solution which grows the agency business.
● Work side by side with your clients to engage new projects from the start, proposing transformational solutions, assess feasibility and driving change for your brands
● Provide strategic and tactical leadership across different accounts, while keeping up-to-date on daily project activities
● Identify the client’s needs to pivot their business, generate accurate reports status of existing accounts and new businesses
● Work with both the client and internal partners/divisions to understand, define and build effective and innovative solutions that generate measurable results.
● Partners with planners to develop and implement highly interactive strategic responses for brand’s business and communication needs
● Problem solves on high level account and production issues and knows when to involve their supervisors
● On the lookout for opportunities to cross-sell different capabilities of the company
● Mentor and train team members, write performance reviews and allocate work
● Able to foresee issues before they arise and take pressure off the team by tackling the difficult conversations, and knowing when to escalate for support.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
● Regional exposure with creative and/or production experience in either print, video or digital, experiential activations
● At least 8 years of working experience in related field

● Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and run multiple projects at once with minimal oversight
● A solid understanding of business and marketing strategy
● Extremely detail-oriented and organized
● Strong interpersonal skills and initiative taking . You have extensive experience writing proposals and can propose solutions from either a basic technical or a creative/commercial perspective.
● A sharp mind, a good memory and attention to detail are absolutely key
● Comfortable interacting with clients of all levels and industry backgrounds, from C-Suite through to administrative support staff. You need to know intuitively how to best facilitate the relationship between the company and our clients in any given situation
● Strong financial understanding of budgeting, estimating and agency profitability
● Effective negotiation and problem solving skills
● Capable of writing a thoughtful interactive communication strategy presentations, highlighting current trends in digital, media, technology and advertising that may be utilized to achieve a client’s business outcomes
● Able to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
● Ability to demonstrate conceptual selling and consultative approach to clients / prospects and develop sales strategies and demonstrate strong territory management
● A track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
