As part of the Engineering team, based in Singapore, this role will bring you great opportunities to work on various projects, technologies, with a diverse range of teams.
The Engineering team is responsible for developing our core business products and getting them to production in the most efficient and fastest way possible. We architect solutions, tools and platforms to solve business needs and tools around provisioning, configuration, CICD, monitoring, SLA, performance and uptime. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with infrastructure team for monitoring day to day PostgreSQL and or other OLTP database systems in terms of operations and management
Assists and helps in the implementation of better reporting system, ETL pipelines
Performs database capacity planning and maintenance, monitoring and performance tuning
Participates in the architecture design, implementation and shipping of new functionalities on our core platform, as well as new products,
Assists in the evaluation of new technologies and initiatives for our data management
Advises and assists engineering team and operations teams on data issues

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
EXPERIENCE
Deep understanding and real passion for relational database theory and database fundamentals
Deep understanding on databases and best engineering practices - include handling and logging errors, monitoring the system, building human-fault-tolerant pipelines, understanding how to scale up, addressing continuous integration, knowledge of database administration, maintaining data cleaning and ensuring a deterministic pipeline
Experience with AWS RDS / ElasticCache / other AWS Database Services or experience with management of databases in AWS environment will a strong plus
Experience in one or several of the following programming/scripting languages: Perl, Golang, Python,
Good English communication skills
Interest in the FinTech Industry and market innovations
