You will work closely with the leadership team to define and implement the HR / People strategy from scratch. Operating in a strategic and operational individual contributor role, you will determine the strategic people priorities, set up the HR infrastructure, translate the company-wide vision and mission into people initiatives, fostering and driving a consistent culture across the organisation. You will develop the talent management and development proposition, including reviewing succession planning and leadership development. You will put in place a fit for purpose rewards strategy and processes that align with the strategic objectives of the organisation and maximising employee engagement and happiness. You will define and implement a best in the class HR function and HR Ops managing people processes from on-boarding to exit as the company continues to grow and expand across the region. You will be an HR Manager or Senior HR Manager who is looking to grow into a CPO position over time in line with the ongoing growth of the company. You will ideally have started your career perhaps in a bigger corporate in HR or HR change management consulting and transitioned into a start-up a few years down the line due to your passion for building and creating something exciting! Financial Services, Fintech, Tech or professional services experience is required. Degree and/or HR qualification is required.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization, ensuring adherence to employment law and company policies
Drive hiring and onboarding in collaboration with our external recruiters, ensuring the process is delightful for candidates (successful or not)
Nurture a positive working environment and grow the culture of the company
Oversee and manage an annual review process to drive engagement, results and happiness across the company
Maintain salary and benefits program and coordinate with Finance and outsourced payroll agency for monthly processing
Work closely with finance and senior management in developing annual staff plans and budgets, generate the necessary information for decision making as well as tracking actuals vs plans

Proven experience in growing highly effective teams and company cultures
Experience in fintech, start-ups or high growth teams is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or a related field
Excellent communication skills
Expertise in mediation and consultation tactics
Strong leadership skills
Detailed knowledge of Singapore employment practices
