The Role
- Acting as a business partner to the business CEOs across the Singapore offices, providing strategic and financial advice to achieve business objectives
- Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions
- Ensure timely and accurate management and financial reporting & analysis to Head Office
- Responsible for budgeting and forecasting as well as cash flow management
- Formulating, monitoring and improving financial and operational policies, controls and procedures on an on-going basis
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, company secretary, tax consultants, bankers & legal adviser
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned
- Manage a small team of between 2-3 accounts staff
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent and preferably a Chartered Accountant
- Proven track record of leading an accounting and finance function, and working with senior management
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership and analytical problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of international financial reporting standards
- Team player, proactive, mature and independent
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Past experience in a similar role within the marketing/advertising/comms industry will be a bonus
