With headquarters in London and a presence in over 10 offices worldwide, the company, comprised of over 200 professionals, specializes in providing inflight entertainment content, custom marketing, advertising, sales, production services, and technical solutions. Recently, they've unveiled a proprietary centralized marketplace, setting them apart by allowing agencies and advertisers to directly purchase digital advertising inventory from airlines.
This innovative platform, thoughtfully crafted for both airlines and media buyers, offers a comprehensive, self-service buying experience reminiscent of familiar programmatic ad-buying platforms. For agencies, it streamlines the process of acquiring airline digital ad spaces, presenting a range of inventory options while ensuring the security of IAB standard digital formats.
Due to the substantial interest generated by this cutting-edge product, the company is actively seeking an accomplished and highly motivated Enterprise Sales Agency Manager to join their APAC team based in Singapore.

The Role

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in collaborating with prominent media agencies, driving the adoption of an innovative solution, and ensuring continuous utilization. The primary focus will be on establishing and nurturing trust-based relationships with large agencies, media planners, and advertisers. As a central figure in expanding the platform's usage, the individual is expected to contribute to a positive impact on clients while boosting revenue performance.
In this comprehensive sales position, responsibilities encompass various prospecting activities, including outbound communications, in-person or virtual meetings, and participation in industry events to generate revenue opportunities. The role also involves handling inbound marketing leads and referrals, and undertaking the necessary steps to successfully close business deals. The candidate is expected to understand the specific needs of agencies, articulate the value proposition of the solution, and lead negotiations until contracts are finalized.
In summary, the main objectives for the selected candidate will be to:
  • Promote and sell the solution, focusing on South East Asia and beyond.
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with senior stakeholders in major media agencies across the region.
  • Gain and maintain a solid understanding of the platform's value proposition, as well as the current and future needs of both new prospects and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with Ad Ops and Sales teams to ensure a successful demonstration of the solution, trial initiatives, and the conversion and retention of customers.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline with accurate updates to ensure reliable revenue forecasting.

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in programmatic or digital media buying, ideally with experience in the Publisher, DSP, or SSP realms. This person should demonstrate a proven track record of comprehending programmatic media buying from both a publisher and demand side perspective.
Crucially, the ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of the agency landscape in Singapore and boast a minimum of 3 years of Business Development experience. Other qualifications include: 
  • 3+ years of sales and business development experience within relevant agencies, particularly in digital marketing and paid social.
  • The ability to establish connections and engage with diverse audiences, including C-level decision-makers.
  • A keen desire and aptitude for continuous learning about our technical product, organizational dynamics, and the airlines' ecosystem.
  • Existing connections that can facilitate entry into expanding verticals such as automotive, e-commerce, entertainment, gaming, retail, or travel.
  • A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding quotas.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for meetings, conferences, and industry events in South East Asia.
  • Demonstrated readiness for personal and professional growth, characterized by self-motivation, adaptability, and agility in learning
