WHAT SETS DAY SEVEN APART FROM THE CROWD?
At Day Seven we believe in providing Digital Solutions to Business Challenges. In a rapidly changing Digital economy, we partner with our Clients to help them reimagine the way they interact with their Customers, Employees & Partners and manage their Business. What makes us different? Well, for starters our truly integrated story of bringing Design and Technology together. Each member of our Strategy, Creative and Technology team is encouraged to connect their ideas and lead innovation that continually evolves our Services. We don’t see ourselves as an agency, consultancy, mobile developers, data analysts or a branding company – but instead we combine the best of all to build Digital Businesses. We are perhaps the only Truly Integrated Digital Solutions Company in Singapore which can help Clients in their digital journey all the way from strategy through to concept and execution, utilising both Services and our Platforms (media analytics and mobile application).
CAN YOU DEFINE YOUR CULTURE?
We are quite a loud and unusual blend of talent from many different areas of life and the Digital space. The culture is derived from the philosophy of focusing on people as well as the possibilities of Design and Technology. As a group we like to make sure we spend time inventing new team activities such as ‘New food Friday’ or terrible spotify playlists as well coming up with awesome new ideas for our Clients. Most of the team members have had their own startups or their own business which means we like people who are entrepreneurial, driven and are willing to Be The Change They Want To See in the company. We also host Idea Labs every month which gives every team member an opportunity to bring his or her own ideas and share with the entire team.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN GREAT TALENT?
Skill and ability are not initially the highest attributes on our wishlist as opposed to attitude, vision and the right fit for our company culture. It has been interesting to see that those who succeeded the most in our initial years have also demonstrated the greatest amount of personal determination and are people who came in with an entrepreneurial mindset.
WHAT DO YOU SEE AS SOME KEY EMERGING TRENDS IN THE DIGITAL AND/OR PROGRAMMATIC INDUSTRY IN 2015 AND BEYOND?
