Another month, another milestone – one of the things I love about working in a small (but rapidly growing) company is that it seems we’re always accomplishing something new. This month we ran our very first networking event and if our guests enjoyed it even half as much as we did, it was a great success.
The idea behind the night was to officially launch our big data practice, now that Ken Hew and Alice Silver have joined us to lead the Big Data teams in Singapore and Australia respectively, and also for our clients and contacts in the digital, big data and comms industries to meet, share ideas and hear from leaders in innovation in our industries.
Keeping it short but sweet on the topic of innovation Rob Fanshawe (Group MD, 33 Talent) introduced one of our partner companies Connectcubed and the gamification of candidate assessment, and our guest speaker Damien Cummings (VP & CMO at Philips) spoke on the importance of advocacy in marketing.
It was great to see new connections being made, meet up with old and new faces and enjoy hydrating ourselves courtesy of Bartini Kitchen’s extended happy hour and the now-famous 33 Talent drink vouchers (it's amazing how many new friends you make when you’re armed with a huge stash of vouchers!).
