It's been just over 6 months since I joined 33 Talent and so I recently completed my first formal review. Although I regularly meet up with my manager, and plan for the upcoming week or month, I rarely actually sit down and think about my progress so far, or plan where I’m going and what I want to achieve in the longer term (the next 6 months, the next year, my career as a whole) and I’m sure I’m not the only one…
YOU DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR MANAGER
We’re nearly half way through the year, so what better time to evaluate how the year is going, and make plans for the next 6 months and beyond? Some of you will be meeting up with your managers to discuss your progression anyway, but you don’t have to wait for a manager to call a review to evaluate yourself and plan for the future.

Anything you would have done differently?
Where am I going?

30 MINUTES OF "YOU-TIME"
Set aside 30 mins to answer these questions and you’ll be surprised what you get out it. It doesn’t all have to be work-related either – as well as planning marketing campaigns and research projects for the next year, I also signed up to do a 10k run the day I did my review!
Once you’ve completed the review, you may like to speak to someone about career planning, or join us at one of our events, so please feel free to contact me at email@example.com. I look forward to hearing how you’re getting on!
