As an IT Director, you will be responsible for leading IT department towards functioning more efficiently and effectively. You will also be required to oversee the computer systems, IT and electronic data operations, as well as manage personnel and ensure that members are satisfied with our services. A successful IT Director will be responsible for advising the sales team and potential members on IT related matters, and for being involved with the pre-opening of company locations, designing and setting up network architecture, audio visual (AV) etc. requirements. The IT Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
 
What you’ll do
Be the IT Expert
Develop category plans and present these plans with supplier summaries, stakeholder engagement plans, contract summaries, and market insights that lead to both short and long-term strategies Work with the Global team to align the region with the rest of TGR in multiple projects Be accountable for creating strategic solutions for specific commodity/service requirements, procurement event planning, RFP/quotation management, bid analysis and recommendations Lead and be the main point of contact (internal & external) for all IT infrastructure projects and system management Work closely with the Sales team and Business Unit to provide technical consultancy advice to members and prospects during the sales process Oversee annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department Identify security loopholes and implement strategic solutions for security and accessibility Lead integration setups and provide necessary documentation and solutions for cross functional services Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time Ensure IT Policy is relevant and up to date for all Business Entities Oversee the CCTV and security access and handle all security-related operations and functions Create IT Proposals on patches, changes and resolutions Collaborate and coordinate with 3rd party vendors and outsourcing partners, to ensure tasks and projects are delivered on-time Make sure regional IT guidelines/approval processes are followed
 
Lead the Team
Lead the IT team to ensure the smooth running of daily IT operations, ensure timely resolution of issues, fulfilment of requests and the provision of IT related information Be responsible for IT recruitment, onboarding and training & development. Plan and prepare the yearly budget for end-user related items such as end-user computer replacement, Office 365 subscription renewal, etc. and monitor the actual spending against the budgeted spending Ensure team effectiveness and workload balance
 
IT SOP
Develop compliance procedures, IT policies, processes, and best practices, as well as personal data protection to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act Lead quarterly audit to account for all IT equipment Oversee annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department Lead quarterly audit to account for all IT equipment Establish security procedures and keep a vigilant eye for security issues Develop and implement IT policies, processes and best practices to safeguard data integrity and governance Manage appropriate back-up strategies and ensure full disaster-recovery procedures
 
IT Infrastructure
Implement IT strategic planning, identify suitable technology, and translate them into fully functional IT digital implementations in support of the IT roadmaps Assist the relevant teams in the fulfilment of Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) and Cyber Security Incident Response Plan Propose and oversee pre-opening system design, architecture and if necessary deployment of new IT systems and services to meet the operational needs, such as CCTVs, door locks, keycards, conference needs, etc. Ensure that the underlying IT infrastructure and its associated technologies operate efficiently, perform within agreed targets and deliver a secure platform for the company and users
 
Audio Visual (AV)
Manage and support all AV systems in our in-house studio Overseeing, operate, and troubleshoot for the audio and video equipment
 
Requirements
Have a qualification in Computer Science, Computing, Information technology or the equivalent With minimum of 7 years of experience in IT-related fields Prior experience working with full network topology, network printer system is required Prior experience leading at least one IT support or a team Prior knowledge of VoIP solutions Prior experience in co-working and real estate environments would be ideal Hands-on experience in various network infrastructure is a must An expert in various firewall and access switch setup Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
