Digital Marketing Associate

Context of the role
The Digital Marketing Associate will support Contour’s marketing efforts by creating and executing engaging assets to grow the company’s digital brand presence. The candidate is an energetic, creative communicator who is detail-oriented and strives to stand out from the crowd. The candidate will assist in executing multiple projects ranging from content development to website updates and social media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Execute day-to-day digital marketing activities
Assist with brand development efforts through online exposure via social media, website, email marketing, digital events and other relevant platforms
Create impactful graphics using engaging imagery for social media, website, presentations, banners, etc, in line with brand identity
Manage website updates, blogs, press releases and social media posts
Collaborate and assist other departments with the design and updating of relevant marketing collateral - digital flyers, brochures, newsletters, etc
Basic editing videos and podcasts
Collating of analytics and reporting of monthly stats
Support the Marketing head with various assignments as needed
Job Requirements:
Self-starter with an excellent work ethic, positive attitude and a 'get things done' mentality
High level of creativity, an eye for innovative designs and exceptional writing skills
Strong communications and interpersonal skills, team-oriented
Experience creating digital content, social media, SEO on behalf of a brand
Strong graphic design skills
Basic video and audio editing capability
Staying focused and detail-oriented while managing multiple projects, timelines and deliverables
Stay up-to-date with the newest developments, tools and trends in social and digital media
Accuracy and attention to detail
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, graphic design or equivalent field of study
1-3 years of digital marketing experience
Experience with graphic design applications: Adobe InDesign and/or Illustrator
Experience with content management platforms or web platforms
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Powerpoint, Excel
Experience with digital analytics and reporting (Google Analytics) preferred
Experience with WIX / HTML coding a plus, but not required
