CONTEXT OF THE ROLE
Reporting to SVP of Asia Pacific, the Business Development Director is based in Singapore and will drive customer acquisition in the country . The ideal candidate will be an individual who is self-motivated, possesses high energy and has a strong business acumen.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be an individual contributor by developing the overall sales and business development plan in Singapore
Manages full sales cycle including generation of leads to managing live accounts
Possesses full ownership of customer requests and exploring new opportunities to add value in Company positioning
Oversees and manages coordination in rolling out new services to targeted partners/customers
Attends tradeshows and follow-up on source leads
Ensures all specific reports and records are completed within timeframe, including utilization of CRM tool with precision
Provides timely feedback to line manager about performance, sales activity, account management status and strategy planned
Ensures satisfaction amongst existing accounts to achieve positive account retention and contractual health
Initiate and maintain strong working relationship with colleagues and customers to ease communication channels and facilitate resolutions for issues
Assists to identify trends by researching on industry, related events and announcements
Communicates needs of customers effectively to support team members

QUALIFICATION
Minimally a Bachelor Degree
EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years in a client facing role and prior direct/indirect work experience in Money Transfer or Mobile Financial Services
Experience in solution sales to corporates and banks
Results-oriented with outstanding communication, organization and negotiation skills
Has a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Ability to interact with C-level
Superior networking skills
Hands-on experience with Zoho CRM is desirable
Flexible, self-motivated, responsible and disciplined individual
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy and team-oriented environment
Highly adaptable, able to accept and create change
Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements
Strong sense of initiative and ability to work both independently and part of a team
Excellent attention to details
