I focus on recruiting into the PR and Communications industry and I thrive when I’m connecting with others.
My love of people paved the way for a career in recruitment (unbroken only by a few years of pursuing my passion for snowboarding). I hailed from Hays Recruitment in the UK before my move to Singapore in 2014.
With a core focus on recruiting into the PR and communications industry, a typical day could actually include anything from running a “Recruitment Masterclass’ for a regional HR team as part of our subscription service; organising the quarterly PR Presence event or interviewing new talent (and familiar faces) from the PR and communications industry.
As part of the leadership team at 33 Talent, People and Culture was a natural fit for my area of responsibility - It’s now my mission to make sure that our growing team of 33ers are happy at work!
In my own time, I offer career guidance to creative women as part of the “Who’s Ya Momma” mentor programme, run by the wonderful ladies at the She Says network.
Outside of the office, I’m usually swatting up on my nutrition knowledge and training for events like Spartan, half marathons or triathlons or seeking adventure on a snowboard, wakeboard, skateboard and my trusty bike, Goldie.
